About
My name is Camden Jones. I am a freelance reporter and editor based in the Minneapolis area. I am a graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism with an emphasis in convergence news reporting. I grew up in Wheaton, IL. I first fell in love with the idea of becoming a journalist when I started listening to video game news podcasts in early high school, and I soon found that I loved reporting on a variety of topics — not just video games.
I love nothing more than the exhilarating process of finding the best words to say what needs to be said. I also like to dance. (It helps get the creative juices flowing.)
I’m currently a writer and editor for Screen Rant, and I previously did freelance work for GameRevolution and ESPN Esports. I’ve written for Game Informer as an intern and the Columbia Missourian as a state government reporter, and I’ve also reported for the various publications associated with the Missouri School of Journalism.
I have dabbled in podcasting, most successfully in my now-defunct, college-focused, conversational podcast, “6 Feet Undergrad.”
You can find me on Twitter @CCJ1997, where I tweet mostly about my latest projects, video games and random science/nature videos.
